I have no idea of the ins and outs of planning permission, JRs and SoS etc, but if you have gander at Outlaws some on there do seem to know what's going on. Not saying they're right but the general feeling seems to be positive.Take a look the threads are very interesting and informative.

Just my own cynical view but I feel the stadium will get the thumbs up followed by a rejection of Newlands. The council will then simply say “we gave our blessing to Power Court, your problem LTFC if you can’t fund it”. I sincerely hope I am wrong but fear that may be the outcome.

From what I have seen on Outlaws and from save our town, the council is obliged to set a date for discussion as soon as the reports report is ready, that for PC became ready before that for NP. So no need to worry. And they are commercially separate which is why they have to be considered separately.

I'm surprised and a tad disappointed at some of the negativity and cynicism on here and elsewhere re the planning meetings - all good news as far as I'm concerned.
I'd recommend purchasing a programme tomorrow - GS's notes will settle a few nerves I think.

I think that folk on here and on other forums have seen many false dawns (Sorry SW19). We are delighted with this news but there is still a long way to go. I think that we belive that our interests are in safest hands possible and we trust that thay are being looked after. If there is a call to arms we will be there. Meanwhile, we watch with interest, and try not to get too exited.

I can still only see positivity! Two or three twitchy obout the order in which the applications are being considered. Fearful and aprehensive, but not negative!

Thanks for this the more we can show people are watching their every move - the more the community pressure hits properly at the heart of the council.

Good news that the officers report recommends approval. 1-0 up in the first half...
