I read today that Derby County will play in the cauldron atmosphere of Kenilworth Road tomorrow., and that the Rams will need experienced players to handle the pressure. We're getting a bit of respect at last and about time too I say! Tempting fate but three points would see us win three on the bounce for the first time this season. My hernia operation was cancelled this week so instead of limping round the house in pain I'll be enjoying the cauldron that is Kennilworth Rd come 3 pm tomorrow. COYH!!
I'm getting rather lazy re match Trivia so will once again leave any nuggets open to you Fools.

Time dictates this morning so you'll be pleased not to see my endless trivial stats today lol
Briefly:
Today is my 1,915th Luton game attending and the 1,244th at Kenilworth Road.
It will be the 17th time I've seen the Rams at our shrine from 1974 - 2020. To date, we have won 10, drew one and lost 5 of those.
I'm hoping to complete a 100% personal winning February run of Six successive Town wins. Stoke was the 5th Luton win I've seen in a row, the last time that happened was in 2017. It was 2014 when I last saw 6 successive wins. My record, unlikely to ever be beaten was in our last Conference season 2013-14 - when I saw TWELVE successive Town victories!

It's a funny old game. Another 3 points with only one moment worth a mention, that's our new midfield maestro, Danny Boy. I was again not entertained, not surprising with no midfield, one forward and nothing out wide either side of the pitch.
Osho was playing well as a defender, moving him forward doesn't work for me, he lacks ball control when the ball is coming from behind and Campbell ran around a lot and was in close attendance most of the time, but I didn't really spot anything to get excited about. And Harry, he's never going to be a dual striker, wasted and he needs to stay out wide.
The way the results are going, we could actually get into the top flight, stranger things have happened.

Really pleased with the second half performance and the result. But let’s be honest: play like we did in the first half against Chelsea and we’ll be 4-0 down at half time.

I agree that was a good second-half performance after a poor first 20 minutes in the first half. We do have some good relatively young talent at the club and not just the excellent prospect Adebayo. I feel that Burke is a great find and also am full of admiration for our recruitment team for unearthing Osho. I have to disagree with Liz about Osho’s performance yesterday, I thought he played well in midfield. As for Danny Boy, I just have to hold my hand up and say I was wrong about him being past it; similar for Jerome. Well done to NJ & the full team.

I base my comment on how many times yesterday again did he fail to control a ball coming out of defence which allowed Derby to get into a very dangerous position and led to a scramble defensively? I agree that he is developing nicely but prefer him in a purely defensive role.

Chas and Dave song springs to mind for me personally at some Luton fans...................T.A.N.P.Y.
All about opinions I know, but I do get annoyed that some, still find fault in the team and feel the need to criticise (which I fully understand if we are on a losing streak) - but modern football is now only about RESULTS, it's why so many managers get sacked. If one purely wants to be 'entertained' go to the Circus.
Yesterday we won our ELEVENTH game in the last 15, with only two defeats - well sorry, I for one am being 'entertained' with those results.
We are now a staggering 73 places higher in the FL pyramid since finishing 7th in the 5th tier Conference nine years ago.
REJOICE I say REJOICE!

If one purely wants to be 'entertained' go to the Circus. Circus, no, too far to go. Do google bother to still list Ibrox as a football stadium?
