That's really good news for those who drive. By then I'll be back on the train (dark nights) and hopefully Jess will be in her flat and using the train but thank you for all your efforts.

So what I was told last Thursday night by two separate people is completely false then?
They told me the Landsdowne was boarded up and had closed already!
Clearly not it seems.

Closing for business on November 20th so normal service until then. Completion date scheduled to be 21st January so still our property until then hence car park will be patrolled and people who choose to use it will need a permit.

As a former (most popular...ever) Bobberman Cup winner, I fully expect to be offered a "Free" parking pass.

The trophy to this day takes pride of place ast all my other predicting trophies in the centre of my extremely large (fully laden) trophy cabinet.

Hi All
Here's the latest from tonight's (Tuesday, November 6th) SGM that officially closes the Lansdowne Club.
1. The Club closes for business on November 20th 2. The completion of sale date is December 12th 3. Those who purchased car park permits until January 20th will still be valid. 4. The new owner intends to reopen the Club offering a similar service to the current one until such time he obtains planning permission to develop. 5. The new owner has purchased all fixtures and fittings. 6. Awaiting news when this reopening is likely to be but probably sooner rather than later. 7. the new business will be run as a club and a nominal membership fee (legal requirement) will be required to continue to use.
Personally, I'm delighted, parking and pre-match refreshment and still only a 10 minute stroll to the stadium. Alcove replacement solved.
I obviously will from the 20th November have no role in the Club's administration, but if asked to so will keep you informed of 'what's going on'
Kind Regard to all
Dave
