So it's off to the South West on Saturday for the first round of the cup. What side will Nathan put out do you think?
Will Famewo get a game with Mullins rested, will Senior get a game at left back?

Just had a listen to Nathan’s pre-Exeter press interview and I get the impression that Jack Senior will get a game at left back this Saturday. Three things Nathan said that lead me to think this: firstly he was saying when asked, how important wing back play is to his formation; surely that rules out the likeable Dan Potts. Secondly, he was saying that Jack Senior is available again after injury and is absolutely flying in training and from the WBA game, we know he gets down the wing like a very fast Scotty. Thirdly, Nathan was saying words to the effect that Sheehan’s days of bombing down the wing from left back are behind him: enter Senior on Saturday, any takers?

Sheehan certainly didn't do any bombing down the wing at Notts on Saturday, in fact I was very dissapointed with his overall game. Give Senior a go at Exeter if he's fit. Is JJ fit now? Hope so as I rate him more than O'Donnel.

Well, a really enjoyable trip on a very cold November day. We were not at our best in the first half but upped our game more in line with our normal away style in the second half and to my mind, deserve to be in the hat for the draw for the second round of the FA Cup. i have put some match notes together on the Whittlerhatter site: whittlerhatter.weebly.com |
