When the delightfully named Heckingbottom was sacked by the Blades the arrival of Chris Wilder helped them regain some of their sharpness, but of late the bluntness has returned. We've had some great results of late but tomorrows encounter won't be for the faint- hearted and we must be at our best. COYH!! No Trivia this week from me as we've played Sheffield Utd quite often recently. But over to you if you have any gems.

Not my trivia but pinched from elsewhere, that Chris Wilder is the first manager to bring a team to KR in 4 different divisions.

SW19, hoping we can assist him in being the first to take a team in the opposite direction π€. Think we all anticipate a tough game as survival at stake for both our sides - letβs hope for a convincing Hatters victory

The Yorkshire Puddings beat the Bedfordshire Clangers without too much of an ado.
Did anyone count any Luton attempts on goal? A pathetic showing where not one of our players came out of it with any credit.
Edwards convincingly out-managed by the old warrior Wilder and his team played the perfect frustrating, for us, away performance.
No Man of the Match for me, I didn't view one performance worth a mention. However there were a couple of negatives which I must comment on. Clark categorically proved that this league is beyond his capabilities and Doherty must have washed his feet, he couldn't do a thing with them. Several of the dozen or more corners he took failed to clear the first man and don't mention his other dead balls that remained dead. Perhaps Kaminski has been coaching him. Oh, and was Osho fit? Second best in every foot-race.
Then to make the match a complete farce, on 89 minutes Edwards brings on Berry and Woodrow and by then the fans were streaming out.

Clearly a disappointing performance and result - but I'd sooner have Rob, his approach and his record to date than 'old warrior Wilder' - the introduction of Berry and Woodrow very late in the game at Everton resulted in a lucrative Fifth round home fixture againat City - the two sides we realistically need to compete with for survival, Everton and Forest, both failed to capitalise on our result - both those sides are facing the real prospect of sanctions and points deductions
COYH!!!

My husband thinks Palace will go down and, much to my surprise, that Luton will stay up, even after Saturday's display!

My husband thinks Palace will go down and, much to my surprise, that Luton will stay up, even after Saturday's display! After watching Palace/Chelsea last night I think Hubby might have a point. A very poor Palace team were beaten by a very poor Chelsea outfit who didn't come alive until very late in the game.

And then there were Three - Everton, Forest and Palace, two of whom we face after the next three possibly fruitless fixtures. COYH!!
