Will Town produce fireworks at Kenilworth Road tomorrow?🎆 This is one I've been looking forward to since the fixtures came out so let's hope it's not a damp squib. Don't forget to predict for the Spike Bobberman Cup!! COYH!! Liverpool Trivia. A game from almost fifty years ago, which Town lost 1-2. Some line up for Pool.

Who will ever forget that cup game - Nicholls turned his back on Carson before smashing home the penalty to give us a 3 1 lead against the European Champions. Let’s pretend the game ended there… It’s a daunting prospect facing Salah and co so let’s hope we can conjure the spirit of January 2006 and give them a game we can all remember

One can only say magnificent. So nearly 3 points but 1 is more than most expected. You rarely will ever see a Liverpool where Salah hardly gets a kick but overall they did deserve a draw. Luton played as if their lives depended on it and Edwards planned the game to a tee by not sitting back and trying to absorb the attacks. Luton even early on looked to attack and a casual watcher, not familiar with the football pyramid, would not have guessed that one team were at the top and one at the bottom.
Looking at individual performances, then for me, Barkley had his best appearance yet, Townsend still a work in progress, Kabore good at both ends of the pitch, Doherty a constant threat and I cannot separate a man of the match between Ogbene and a wonderful keeper display from Kaminski.
Manchester United will be shaking in their boots.

Osho has just let Salah out of one pocket and Nunez out of the other.

Superb performance, game, atmosphere and point. Thought Barkley and Kaminski outstanding but everyone gave their all and contributed. Massive confidence boost for the whole side but especially Kabore and Chong. Rearranged kick offs are a pain but I wonder how many new admirers across the world we picked up yesterday? And a word for Diaz, what a leap and header to (sadly) equalise. V much looking fwd to Old Trafford next week, hope the excellent Ogbene will be available along with all the rest of yesterday’s participants. COYH!

Given the plaudits that have rightly accompanied Pelly's climb up the pyramid and ability to upgrade each season, I confess that I was astonished just how good Osho looked in just his second PL match. let alone when faced with marking such ridiculously talented PL forwards. Given his knee op, rehab time and our injury list necessitating him to be selected on the bench at Forest (probably before our medical staff would have liked), then into the team at Villa for 60 minutes, his adjustment to the new demands (pace, positioning, anticipation, decision making and fitness) vs Liverpool was utterly exceptional.
FFS, he even had the confidence at the end of the first half to go walk about with an underlapping run to drag players away from Doughty.
I realise there were several contenders for MoM and he was just one of them but if he performs anywhere near that level for over a consistent number of games then he may save the club spending £mucho in the January window. TBH, I thought Osho was very good last season but I don't think that I quite appreciated just how important a factor he was alongside Lockyer as a partnership - we looked so much more difficult to get out of shape, which, in turn, helped Alfie to better protect the left flank, rather than having to also think about the patch of green just inside.
To a great extent, Osho's performance overshadowed Mengi, who didn't stand out at all - he simply and quietly got on with his job without being noticed. It almost reminded me (within reason!) of Paul Price - always there and solidly doing his job but not attracting that much attention ... a quiet destroyer!
A truly brilliant battling performance from everyone concerned - no ducking responsibilities, no embarrassing moments (in terms of stupidly short passes or poor decisions). Shame that we couldn't quite hold on but it was 1 point and a +5 goal difference better than I expected when I took my seat for the kick off.
COYRRH!

I agree with everything Proud has said about Osho. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he thought he'd be ready to return before the Forest game so perhaps the medics prevailed!
