I’m currently heading for what I hope won’t be the last game of the season. The Neufville recall is hardly the best omen but as Shatter says, all to play for.
See you at Wembley/Wolves/Wycombe/two of these/one of these/none of these - delete as and when known 😀

We played SO well and didn't deserve to lose that. But if you don't take your chances at this level you get cruelly punished. They took their chance - we could/should have had 5 goals before it!
Even better Luton performance tonight than in the 1st leg. Gutted but still PROUD and at least next season we get to attend a local derby again.
Excellent season beyond our wildest dreams back in August.

Simply so proud of our team this season and particular this evening at Huddersfield where but for a little bit of better finishing we would have been booking some Wembley tickets.
Lots of ifs: If Adebayo had been fit, If Shea had been fit, If Fred had been fit, If Pelly had been fit, If Clarke had not had his injury lay-off & was in that superb pre-injury form, If Osho had been fit: I could go on but suffice to say our patched-up team were so unlucky not to win having dominated for so much of the game.
So now having ended our PO run, at least Nathan has a couple more weeks bonus time to bring in new recruits for next season's Championship season. I rather suspect that the high position we finished in and the two superb semifinal games will act as a very positive selling point to quality OOC players available who would be unlikely to consider for example a side finishing at the lower end of the championship.
Incidentally, I wish the Huddersfield Police well in the search for the sniper who shot Lewis O’Brien midway through the second half; I trust he will make a full recovery before he moves to Leeds.
Best wishes to Huddersfield as they quite probably take on the highly respected double European Cup winners who were shown ultimate respect so famously by Graeme Jones.

Wimbo, agree about O'Brien and Toffalo was beginning to put Tom Daley to shame. They also had half dozen Snodgrasses in the ref's ear at every foul demanding cards.Let themselves down because they are a well drilled neat side who have got the triangles off pat.REf was very good though.

Also hoping that Nathan and co will use this time well after rightly basking in the praise for an exceptional season. In terms of going forward, I think we need to reflect on the number of fouls (and sometimes yellow cards) we pick up especially around our box. Whilst some of it is due to weariness, I feel there’s some room for cost-free improvement without comprising our competitive spirit. And thanks to Matt Ingram - he was superb last night as were all our players. Onwards and upwards!

Disappointed, but not massively so, as I thought it might be a little too much for us in the end. Hugely proud of everyone at the club for what we have achieved. Too early to start naming names, but probably at least 4 and maybe 6 or 7 playing staff will probably depart now (and I’m including those out on loan). I have every faith that by August we will be in a potentially stronger position to improve on 6th place, provided we keep recruiting sensibly. But what a great season it’s been. Onward and upward.

I had hoped to finish in 7th position so making the play offs was a real bonus for me. Of course, having got there I began to dream....However, it wasn't to be but all the very positive comments I've received from everyone I know has been a real bonus. It was wonderful to hear people say we are a good footballing side, albeit unlucky at the end. Automatic promotion next year! COYH
