Incredible season who'd have thunk it. The late late goal by Hull changed our opponents and hopefully our fortunes. To be honest I really only wanted to get to the playoffs but would now like a chance in the final. That cheeky goal by Harry makes me laugh every time I see it and will go down in Hatters history. Let's give the lads a huge boost tomorrow night with our support under the lights at the Kenny!! COYH!!

Shatter, Thanks for a great season of Freds, look forward to another two.
More pressure on Hudds than us, let’s enjoy it and hopefully take a lead back up there. They also have an excellent manager in Coberan who was a goalie in his playing days.

The fat lady nowhere near to reaching for the Listerine yet. A reasonable all-round performance with Jerome again missing a golden opportunity. All the squad deserve massive credit for still keeping the contest well and truly winnable.
As an aside, sitting next to me in a resold season ticket seat was Jason, the guy who has been painting all the images in various pubs of Mick Harford and crests etc. A very talented lad.

Huge credit to the lads who gave their all, especially first half in an electrifying Kenny atmosphere. Fitness levels the later the game went on, obviously told with some of our returning players from injury lay offs.
We are not out of this yet. Very proud of our squad and management.

Sonny Bradley MOM for me! Superb throughout, and all but prevented their goal...Shea would/could have finished the job???

VERY good performance IMO given the enormity of the occasion and a very well drilled opposition. They looked like a northern version of us but without being bereft of a treatment room full of first choice midfielders. The fact that their A-team midfielders were still available was the difference - O'Brien and Holmes were given far too much room in the second half but, credit where it's due, their manager created that extra space by deploying their #2 as a wing back from the start of the second half and he stretched our defence by pushing Bell further back and a lot wider. Unfortunately, Bell didn't seem to have a lot of help immediately in front of him to cover Holmes' involvement ... and that involvement was massive as nigh on everything either fell to him to went through him.
Mate texted me after the game and thought that we need Campbell or Clark to man-mark him at their place so he doesn't have so much influence on the tempo and direction of the game. That would mean a 5-man midfield to suffocate their better ball players. Can't say I disagree with him now it has become a one game shoot-out.
Although it was not evident from the main stand at the time, my son texted me at HT to say that Ingram's positioning for their goal and the next couple of breakaways was highly suspect. Having seen it for myself, I must say that Ingram does worry me far more than having Isted between the sticks. Given that it has become a one off game, would you refer Isted keeping goal despite the associated risk of having to put a junior GK on the bench to cover injury/red card? TBH, I think I'd take that risk at this stage of the proceedings.
Such a shame that we've had too many injuries to list right at the crucial part of the season as I believe we could seriously give Huddersfield a run for their money ... the main thing is that we still can! We ARE still in this despite most people around me thinking we had to take a lead to Yorkshire.
One other opinion (which may cause consternation ast readers!), if we are playing with three at the back, please do not make Bradley the final lie of defence. He was turned far too easily and simply doesn't have the pace to make up ground once he has been passed. A fully fit Bradley would have got to the ball before their scorer but a lunge would have been a red card - so yes, he made the right decision not to tackle at the time but only because his pace was relatively poor. If we play three at the back then Lockyer seems to be a better last line of defence playing slightly behind the other two.
NJ has a massive decision to make about Adebayo - if he starts with the intention of giving him just 60 minutes then this match is different as there could be extra time. So I can see him coming off the bench rather than starting (if he is anywhere near fit enough, of course). Given the apparent fitness level, pace and determination of Kioso, he is one squaddie who I would look at to start as one of the five midfielders - if only to give our midfield some bite and heading ability! maybe let him be the man-marker?

V good summary Proud. There are numerous things we can’t do anything about re Monday - Bradley’s pace, Adebayo’s and others’ injuries, the quality of their midfield, playing Ingram because we have to under the loan rules, and so on. The threat from them on the break is further enhanced by the return of Thomas.
But having got through last night and still being in a competitive position gives us opportunities too. We have an excellent away record and have conjured up some great results away from the Kenny. Hudds will be favourites and that adds pressure on them. If we can get through the early part of the game without conceding, that pressure increases. Nathan will be doing his homework on way we can replicate parts of our first half dominance without leaving the back door open. Bree, Naismith and Snodgrass are superb with free kicks so we need to win them - Clark in particular showed how good he is at that.
See you all at Wembley
