After that brilliant fighting victory over Forest we go again today against the "Bluebirds"in Wales. Once again we'll have to change at the back with the suspension of Sonny Bradley, but we've got cover in those positions Potts and Kioso could be used. I know a couple of Fools are traveling so hope you see a great game down there in "God's own Country".COYH!! Cardiff Trivia. Mick McCarthy signed James Collins from us in 2021, McCarthy has since left the club and James doesn't seem to fit in with their new managers plans. Collins did well for us in his four years at Luton making 174 appearances and scoring 68 goals. Will he play today?

Collins has clearly aged a bit and I’m not sure about the beard? But thanks for all those goals, just don’t score one today in the unlikely event you appear today.
It’s cool and cloudy down here but Nathan will be hoping to recreate the fervour that saw us home on Friday.
Enjoy the game from afar if you’re not coming today.

Yet another 'back to the wall' type performance with 'all for one and one for all' attitude. Players dropping like flies but the substitutes yet again coming up trumps.
I've said it before but I do like Isted but yet again it seems that we will have to get an emergency keeper who will have to play versus Blackpool, so he'll miss out after another steady performance.
A Nathan 'game changer' wins the game for us and Kioso shows yet again he is to be relied on to give a rock solid performance.
Looks like we are nearly there, how did that happen?

Thanks for the share Bill. Murray summed up our current success very well and maybe the momentum of that spirit will carry us all the way despite the obvious setback on the injury front. I did catch sight of Sorbe Thomas on crutches after Huddersfield’s fine win yesterday so we’re not the only side with problems on that front.
It was a terrific performance yesterday capped by the Marvellous Moment when ‘Arry ‘Eaded ‘Ome! Be good to see Fulham secure promotion tonight, that may give us a slightly better chance of getting something there. Let’s hope the KR Field Hospital can work wonders in the coming days/weeks.

hope the KR Field Hospital can work wonders in the coming days/weeks. I thought that Mad Nath's comment the other week was classic regarding the treatment room being like the Bermuda Triangle, nothing comes out.

Yet another astonishing application by one and all and yet another few sets of crutches dispensed to the wounded.
IF (massive "IF") we get to the Premier League, may I suggest the club invests a wedge of the PL money into our own MRI scanner to save paying the weekly ambulance fees and scanning charges currently paid to third parties.
The match, itself, wasn't much of a spectacle but that's understandable given the scheduling, lack of recovery time, travelling and exertions of Good Friday. Even if the technical abilities were 'meh', the commitment shown was brilliant and summed up by the fact that Harry was prepared to head the ball irrespective of the impact it would have on his hair. He may be a 5h1t Jack Grealish but he's okay by me!
Three points: first one is more of a heart over head - Isted looks solid enough and confident enough to play IMO. It was his accurate kick that led to our winner. I've nothing against Shea but his kicking can very often be frustrating because he doesn't give our targets a chance - Isted did! Maybe Isted got lucky but his performance vs Chelsea suggests he is ready to step up. But the loan GK rules make that impossible. Waning: bizarre suggestion coming up but here goes anyway: maybe we should do what Wycombe have done in the past and nominate our GK coach ... no, not Dearden FFS! I'd be surprised if Kevin Pilkington isn't registered as a player so to have him on the bench may allow Isted to play behind our defence. Bringing in A.N.Other loan GK who MUST play means our defence will be looking over their shoulders too much IMO (a la Boro game). Obviously this assumes Pilkington can still throw himself around.
Second point was that, once again, Potts comes in from the start and we keep a clean sheet. Even though he was partly to blame for the first goal at Huddersfield (cold off the bench, positionally all wrong), he has deputised magnificently when called upon from the start on the left of a back three.
Third point was to 'big up' Kioso: he introduced some much needed energy and steel in some of the challenges. I really do hope that he is not the present day equivalent of JJ. By that I mean that NJ only played JJ regularly when Potts had a long term injury and JJ thrived at LWB as we all suspected he would. Most fans I've spoken to would like Kioso tied down to a longer contract (and we certainly don't want to see him improving MK Dungs) - I'd like to see him utilised more as he brings an awareness, energy and pace to the back line akin to Campbell in midfield.
COYH.
