FAO SPONSORSHIP CONTRIBUTORS: Kit sponsors training morning

As part of our sponsorship of Glen Rea we've received our invitation to the annual Kit Sponsors morning at the training ground. We have 1 place available, with the possibility of that person also bringing a guest.

The date in question is Tuesday 26th October 2021, from arrival prompt at 10.00am through to 1.00pm. The morning will consist of a look at the facilities at the Brache, as well as the opportunity to watch the first and youth teams’ training sessions. After training there are then meet & greet and photo and autograph opportunities.

Obviously this is a working day (though during half term, which is worth bearing in mind if you have a youngster you think might like to go along with you), and that limits the number of people who may be able to attend. Previously it's worked well, and saved me drawing out loads of names of people who can't make it, if anyone interested could declare interest by PM or by post on this thread, and do so asap, and definitely no later than Thursday 30th September. It would be useful if you could also indicate whether or not you'd want to bring a guest.

Those who have been previously always report it as being a good morning, so I’m hoping there will be enough interest for me to need to do one of my random number generated draws. If you would like to go, please do put your name forward.

Sorry, all, for the delay, this week's been madly busy; not quite caught up yet, but this was a priority!  I've done a proper draw (not exactly a hat, but a little box) and the name to come out was madhatter88888, to whom I'll be sending a PM in the morning....

For anyone interested, the shape of this event has changed and it's been merged with the open training session tomorrow at the Kenny which Diamonds and the hoi polloi can also attend. Maybe Covid considerations have come into play. However kit sponsors are also getting breakfast in the Eric beforehand, and hopefully some good access to their sponsored players, so I'm hopeful Mad and his guest will still have a good time.

My 15 year old Daughter Daisy, and I attended the Kids Sponsor morning on Tuesday 26th October. The event has moved from the Brache to the Kenny so we did not get to see the training facilities- however we started off with Breakfast in the Morecambe Suite - pastries and hot drinks which we enjoyed.
This was followed by a 15 minute talk by James Redden, Sports Science Head who came from Tottenham, very clever and informative speaker who took us through the stats that are used to ensure players are fit and able to sustain their physical fitness throughout the game - borne out by the improved results on the pitch since he joined the team at LTFC. I think we can all see the improvement in the teams physicality on the pitch. James also mentioned that our recruitment is far more focused on the physicality and speed of a player as well as the obvious skill levels and attitude
We then went out to the dugout to watch the training sessions - players that had not been involved in the last few games were put on intensive training session whilst the rest of the team carried out a light training session. Following that we had the great opportunity of meeting the players for photos and autographs - the players that stood out were Sonny Bradley, Elijah Adebayo and Glenn Rae who spent some time chatting with us. - Glen really stood out and made an effort to take time out and speak with us and came across as a very nice friendly chap, as a result he is now Daughters new favourite Luton player.
Overall a great morning out which we both immensely enjoyed and will remember - thanks
