A momentous season for our beloved club complimented by some notable performances in the Bobberman, particularly those in their first season.Tophatter86 and Samsolihullhatter did exceptionally well to finish first and third respectively in League two.
Smudger showed his pedigree by winning the Premier yet again and winning the overall title in the process, and bloodorange winning League One in only his second season.
As I have said previously, the Cup was extremely well run by hatterinsw19 who has set herself a challenge to match it next season and will doubtless achieve that.
We are considering having a Checkatrade trophy this season with LTFCMick as the sole participant but I am loathe to do it as he would still be at risk of not winning it.
Sadly we lost two members this season for health reasons and thoughts go out to them with our best wishes, notably Aberdeenhatter and Wolfiehatter.
One of our esteemed members during a pm exchange suggested to me that running the Bobberman was possibly like “Herding cats” which made me smile as it does feel like that from time to time.
A reminder the league is open to all Fool members and family members of existing participants to join in League One, just let me know on here or by pm. Should that happen before next season and the numbers imbalance again, additional promotions will be made at the end of the season to equalise the leagues.
So we move into next season with a new three league structure that will mean each league is even more competitive with promotions and relegations at stake. The new tables will be posted tomorrow afternoon whilst I fill in the time usually taken up at our games.
I thank you all for your participation and wish you and your families a great summer.
