Town make the long journey to Devon tomorrow when we take on the Pilgrims at Home Park Plymouth.
They had a terrible start to the season and looked relegation favorites early on but the've picked up points recently and are out of the relegation positions now.
For all those traveling have a great day and hopefully bring back maximum points.

Plymouth are the only City Club who have never played in the top flight of the Football League
Paul Mariner started his career at Plymouth before moving on to Ipswich Town and Arsenal, he was player of the season at Home Park two years running in 1974 and 75.

A friend when I was at university told me they were (in the early 1970s)the only English team to play in green.

I read that they have played in green and white since they were formed but changed to an all white strip in the late 60's and early 70's. They adopted a darker green colour they call Argyle green in 2001.

Alas, finances dictate that I have to miss what would have been be my 5th Home Park visit. Same reason I can't make Bradford City on Tues night too (lightweight).
Though I will be attending the last 4 away games of the season. Bristol Rovers and Charlton tickets picked up today.

I like that Mariner played at our most famous port club...
with the great days of sail I felt Dean Windass should have played for them too and maybe George Boat-eng

Well it’s a funny old game; in my opinion, Plymouth have Matt Macey to thank for their point. In the second half we appeared to be the home side with the amount of attacking that we did.
Many players had very good games with McCormack, Bradley and Pelly adding that steel to the side.
Danny, what can you say; a yellow and then a final warning with Bradley called to try to get through to the silly Danny.
Happy with the point but it could easily have been three.

Agree entirely with Wimbo - excellent performance. Would add I thought Shinnie was a real class act throughout, a step above League 1 for sure. Same for Kaz Lua Lua who was so obviously trying hard. Was really proud of our team today - the Plymouth fans I spoke after the match admitted we were superb, and the best team they have seen this season. But, oh Danny Hylton!I know he is really putti g it all in, but it seems to be happening around him,and that is causing so much frustration in him. I reckon Mick Harford will have to bite the bullet at Bradford because Kaz and Cummings surely are a class above, and loyalty can only stretch so far.

Another game when our opponents are making the rougher tackles yet we're the ones treading on eggshells because refs judge Hylton on his (not entirely undeserved) reputation rather than the incident itself. When Plymouth received the first booking, you knew ours would be along soon and it took barely 30secs. It should be said that Hylton doesn't help himself. Early on yesterday, he gave away a daft push on the defender but, IMO, this plus the booking incident still didn't equal a booking. Nor did the next one warrant a second booking which the Plymouth fans were hollering for. Danny got a warm applause from the away end when subbed and is getting plenty of support on Outlaws.
However, the substitution had to be made and we were much improved with Lualua on the pitch, as we have been. I'm on Hylton's side re many of his red and yellow cards, and I wanted him to start yesterday to see what would occur following his goal. But, sadly, its not happening for him and a brave call is needed from Harford now.
Pelly was probably my man of the match with Shinnie and Macca not far behind. I'm sure goals will come with more performances like the 2nd half.

Yes Shady, as you say, 'not undeserved reputation'. Unfortunately his reputation precedes him, but he's the one, and him alone, who has made it. He has barely played a part in this season's success and the tactics have evolved to play a different style of game which relies on the ball on the floor and raw pace up front serving a hard working number 9.
We all are grateful for his past contribution but unless he can change his infantile ways then there are better and 'safer' options.

Luke Berry? Nooooo! My sincerest thanks to Luke for so many occasions that he got me jumping around like a big kid. Berry epitomises your average player who exceeds his level by sheer hard work and it seems that so many Hatters can relate to that.
