We play host to QPR tomorrow in the early kick off 12.30. They have had a good start to the season currently sitting in third place. Now for my rant...... I'm getting p-ssed off with all these changes of match times. I've missed a few home games due to health issues., but having seen potentially three away games this October (I'm going to Norwich, Watford and already been to WBA) my next home game is Sunderland at the end of the month!!. I will have been to more away games than home games soon!! I know the tv money helps but supporters who live far from the ground find it very difficult to get to evening games and early kick offs. The price of Fame I suppose. Anyway three tricky games coming up if we get four points from them I'll be happy!COYH!
Hoops Trivia anyone?👍

I just wish we could have 3 o’clock kick off times again it’s playing havoc with my life. I hope we don’t have the OTT policing again last time was ridiculous but I won’t hold my breath. Rant over

Rant over Assuming I get there, after the last QPR game, I'll give it twenty minutes or so before leaving the stadium.

Be it 3 draws, or even defeats today and at Norwich - but then beating Watford next Sunday would be bearable & ok by me. But the social media meltdown if Luton were to lose two games in a row would be unbearable!

Ironically the change of ko time means I can go to this game. I’m hoping that both sets of fans on are their best behaviour and we can enjoy a fierce encounter that’s confined solely to the pitch. COYH!

My 1,939th Luton game attending today and the 1,261st at Kenilworth Road. I will either see my 833rd Town win, 506th draw or 602nd defeat.
After today, I'll have seen QPR play us at the Kenny more times (24) than any other opponent - even Watford! (23)
Far too many games to detail, but my 23 attended to date from 1971 - 2022 reads: Luton wins 10, Draws nine and defeats 4. We have not beaten the R's in the league since a 2-0 Championship (old Div 2) win ( Marcus Heikkinen, Steve Howard) in 2005-06.
Heart say 1-0 Hatters, head a 1-1 draw.

Last time against QPR the police and stewarding was unacceptable, hope they treat the home supporters better this time, blocking Maple road on exiting is not acceptable. Horses' what was that all about?

Terrific stuff today against an excellent side in a game that went down to the wire. Massive credit to Nathan and his subs, all 14 of our players superb. Rangers always a difficult side to play, particularly on such an excellent run of form. Inevitable and deserved 90th minute goal back for them made for a potentially nervous finale but attack always our best form of defence! V much looking fwd to the next two fixtures.

If it wasn't for the first half then the second half would have been the best I've seen them play this season. What a game, albeit the referee doing his best to stop free-flowing football with unnecessary use of the whistle, or is that my home bias?
In your face defending and attacking and not giving an inch with balls won that were definitely 60 : 40 against. Best passing game by Luton I have witnessed this season.
The sponsors gave the MoM to Captain Bradley, he played well, as they all did, but for me it was Clark, such close skill and speed. And where did Cameron Jerome get that pace from, greyhound out of the traps sprang to mind.
Finally, what a pleasure driving home and having the joy of listening to Luke Ashmead whining like a child and the silence of the cowshed. You don't get that with a 3 pm kickoff.

Charity donations are one of the first things to be sacrificed when a recession or the cost of living hits home.
We usually donate 6 points to the West London Charity based on Loftus Road. So it's good to see that at least half of this season's donation has been well and truly cancelled.

Good to see Elijah back to his best, on a number of occasions today he executed some deft back heals into the paths of fellow players.

Great game of football even neutrals would have enjoyed.Travelled back to Miton Keynes Station with two QPR season ticket holders who were full of praise for our performance. Good to catch up again with Mr & Mrs Clappers, and also young Jeannie.

Throughly enjoyed the game/day yesterday. Our best performance of the season against a top side who have been bang on form lately.
Not one Town player had a bad game. My personal stand outs were Jordan Clark (as usual), Allan Campbell and Sonny Bradley, who had his best game post all his Covid/Injury and personal troubles.
I took a young Kiwi Hatter to his first ever live Luton match. He is home on holiday from Auckland, NZ and has been staying with his family in Liverpool. All of them are staunch reds Liverpool fans - but young Callum about 10 years ago when he was 12/13, decided he would choose LUTON as his team! Both he and I have no idea why he chose the Hatters. He just wanted to be different and is as avid as any Luton fan. Danny Hylton is his all time favourite Hatter. I was impressed with his knowledge when I told him Malcolm Macdonald, closely followed by Ricky Hill were mine - he knew of both players despite his young age!
He had a day to remember forever, but what pleased me the most was his words and I quote " Alan, that was a real football match, in a real proper English stadium. I recently went to Liverpool 3 Brighton 3 and although saw a great game with plenty of goals, I preferred today my a mile. The atmosphere created at Kenilworth Road was far superior to the one at Anfield"
Brilliant.
He purchased plenty of LTFC goods in the club shop to add to his collection for watching the Town on i player and also purchased my book for him to read on his flight home to Auckland on Tuesday night.
