I've received details of this year's End-of-Season Dinner to which, as kit sponsors, we are entitled to one complimentary ticket. Because we also collected in excess of the required amount for this year's sponsorship we have enough to purchase a second ticket, and therefore 2 of this season's contributors will be able to attend. The dinner will be on Tuesday 10th May 2022 at the Auction House, Luton, and will be an evening hosted by Mark ‘The Clem’ Clemmit, attended by Nathan Jones, the coaching staff plus first team & youth team players. Additional tickets cost £90 and will be going on general sale on Monday, so there's merit in getting ourselves sorted before then. So as not to end up drawing a whole sequence of names of people who can't attend, and also so as not to rely on people actually reading this post, I'm going to send a PM to all this year's contributors to gauge interest, and will then make the draw from those actually in a position to go. Because of work and a trustee's meeting I have to take minutes at this evening (yes, clashing with the football ) this is likely to be very much later today, so feel free to pre-empt me by posting below or PM-ing me if you would be interested in being in the draw. If you are interested and in the event of being successful would also want to purchase an additional ticket to bring a friend/partner with you, please mention that as well. Phew! I hope that makes sense - thanks everyone Not for me thanks Dawn.

Thanks for the responses, ickle (in the hat!), gubsilsoe & Lake. Special thanks to those I hadn't quite got round to PM-ing who replied anyway!

A late-night update...
Thanks to everyone for responding so quickly to simplify my organisation! In the end, 9 contributors expressed interest in the dinner, so I resorted to my trusty random number generator to make the selection. The 2 names out of this virtual hat were:
musichatter and ickle2
Tomorrow I'll reserve tickets with the Commercial department, and will be in touch to make arrangements...

Rather belatedly a run down of the night. We were slightly disappointed when we arrived to find there had been no pictures taken of sponsors, players and their shirts "because of covid". The highlight of the evening for us is to be able to talk to players so we assumed that would be verboten as well --it wasn't! Glen Rea wasn't at the dinner; presumably still undergoing rehabilitation from his injury, but we had the pleasure of Carlos Mendes Gomes on our table along with Happy Harry and Harriet! As well, of course, to fellow fool Adrian and his son, Simon. Jess sat next to Happy Harry and found they had a lot to talk about as he also works in a secondary school! I had a long talk to Carlos who told me he was disappointed to have few starts this season but the same happened to him at Morecombe; slow to break into the team. I think we will see more of him next year. He'll also be useful for when we get into the Premiership and thus into Europe; he speaks 4 languages and is wanting to learn French! I also had a chance to chat to Kal Naismith whom I hadn't recognised at the beginning of the season because he's grown some hair! Apparently his mum thinks it makes him look very different, and younger! He's much taller than I expected. I'm 5 foot 10ins in the heels I was wearing that night so you can see from the pic of me talking to him how tall he is! We also both had a lovely chat with Harry Cornick and Sonny Bradley and, of course, thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment including the micky being taken out of Campbell for his accent. Apart from the other Scottish players I think Jess and I were the only others in the room who understood him (her dad is a Scot). It was a fantastic celebration of a fantastic season and all the team members we met were very upbeat about the play offs. It wasn't to be, of course, but there is no doubt Gary Sweet, Nathan etc have buit something very, very right at LTFC. Thank you everyone for joining in the sponsorship that saw Jess get a ticket for this event which gave me the excuse to go as well! I hope the pictures give you a flavour of it and prove we were there! Jess with Happy Harry The Team Kal Naismith is tall And so is our captain (Jess is slightly taller than me) But Harry C isn't! And finally, Happy Harry without his hat talking to Jess!

Having attended the evening a few years ago I know what a great evening it is. Thanks for your account and the images. PS is Harriet Hatter a female?

"She" is most def. a male but I didn't take a pic because I didn't want to spoil peopl's illusions! Happy Harry has been doing the role since he was 16 and we have a pic of him with Jess when she was a mascot!
